About the Potters

We operate “Jurgens Pottery” from our home based studio in

Atlantic Beach, Florida. We began studying ceramics at the

Goodson Center in Littleton while living in Colorado and

continued our studies at the Gwinnett Council for the Arts in

Georgia. We started showing our work

in juried shows in 1999.

We specialize in wheel thrown functional stoneware pottery, but Pat also does hand building, wall hangings and jewelry, and Conrad has expanded into “Raku” and other specialty firings. Much of our work is inspired by nature and we use local leaves and flowers for our Nature’s Prints line. Our desire for peace and harmony among all people is reflected in our Global Soul designs which are found on many of our wall hangings and on some of our functional pieces.

We sell at shows throughout the Southeast. We also sell directly from our home based studio by appointment.
